St Joe Honda started with the dream of Robert and Wendy Eidmann becoming a Honda dealer while living in Seattle WA. in August 1998. The idea was planted by Dr. Allyn & Pam Smith of Performance Plus Rehab of St Joseph MO., during a visit to Seattle. Allyn and Pam had very positive things to say about St.Joseph. That peaked Robert and Wendy's interest to move to St. Joseph and open a Honda Dealership. Robert sent a letter to American Honda asking if they were interested in putting a Honda dealer in St. Joseph, MO. Honda responded with a letter saying "YES we are interested in putting a dealership in St Joe again." So two months later Robert and Wendy quit their jobs and moved to St Joseph. Fourteen Months after moving, St. Joseph Missouri had a new Honda Dealership. We started out small and have grown rapidly due to the great people in St Joseph and surrounding area who have become our customers. We are now recognized as a HONDA POWERHOUSE Tier 4 Dealer. This honor was given to us by American Honda because of our sales volume and high customer satisfaction ratings in Sales, Service & Parts. And, we are striving to do even better.
